  • Housecall Plus adds one diagnostic test and two injectable medications to the standard service.

  • Includes Flu screen, IV NSAID, IV rehydration, IV steroid, IV antiemetic and Tamiflu prescription.

Though our Boston Hotel Doctors are perhaps best known for our house call doctor services, we also provide comprehensive in-room hotel urgent care medical care for travelers from out-of-town as well as out of the country visiting the greater Boston area. Our mobile physician team is on-call, 24/7, 365 days a year, including holidays. Travelers are usually seen by the Boston Hotel Doctors within the hour in their hotel room.  We also provide a follow-up telephone call within 48 hours to see how our patient is doing and to monitor improvement of symptoms.  Call anytime!

Telemedicine Services:

The house call doctor services we offer are leading the way toward bringing technology to health care.  We offer telemedicine, telehealth, and telephone consultations using technologies such as Skype, mobile, and interactive video conferencing.  This service is a supplement to a normal health care regimen---not a replacement.  With minor medical issues, much of the consulting can be done over the phone. Clearly, there is no replacement for being in the room with the patient, but telemedicine and video conferencing is an application that can bring technology to health care.  Our on call doctors can provide expert advice to remote locations, offer instant answers to patients or other clinicians through live video communication, and can link medical professionals by utilizing live video through video conferencing software.  Studies show that telemedicine linkages between medical providers and patients can decrease both patient waiting times and hospitalization rates at nearby hospitals, while increasing the likelihood that patients with illnesses receive appropriate care – as compared with standard emergency department-based triage and treatment.
